Business intelligence and technology-driven facilities management services to take centre stage at MEFMA CONFEX Dubai 2019

Exhibition and FM Counselling Sessions set to take place at event’s 9th edition

Business intelligence in facilities management (FM) and technology-driven FM services are taking the centre stage at the upcoming Middle East Facility Management Association’s (MEFMA) CONFEX Dubai 2019, which will kick off on March 10, 2019 at the Address Dubai Marina. Top industry leaders will grace the high-profile, three-day industry event to explore how data and other advanced technologies can help FM companies address the new challenges and enhance growth of the FM sector.

To be held under the theme ‘Business Intelligence & Technology Driven Facilities Management,’ the conference will host key note presentations featuring local and international case studies, panel discussions on the latest innovations and FM solutions in the market, and workshops on the best international practices. Visitors will also have a chance to check out the latest FM products and services during a two-day exhibition to be held in conjunction with the event.

The FM Counselling Sessions, MEFMA’s one-on-one counselling, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities for FM companies and their clients, will take place as well to enhance collaboration and critical thinking towards a better partnership. Ten meeting booths, each with two FM experts, will be set up in the venue to host the counselling sessions that will focus on a range of topics, from waste management and cleaning services strategies to building condition assessment and energy audit to computer-aided facility management (CAFM) systems implementation.

Jamal Lootah, MEFMA President, said: “Data and other disruptive technologies have swept all industries, including FM, dramatically changing the business landscape. It is no longer business as usual when new tools are continuing to emerge and demand for enhanced customer experience is rising. In a sea of these fundamental changes, we need to continue our dialogues to keep up with the newest trends and developments. MEFMA CONFEX Dubai 2019 is taking place to sustain and further strengthen our cooperation and coordination, while ensuring that the Middle East’s FM market remains globally competitive and is aligned with the needs of the 21st century.”

In 2018, MEFMA CONFEX Dubai shed light on influential FM trends that brought the regional FM industry to new heights.  The event organized under the theme ‘Sustainable FM industry through creative value-based innovations’ focused on the significant role of integrated, quality, and professional FM services in today’s world of rapid technological innovations, connectivity, and smart initiatives. MEFMA launched its one-of-a-kind report titled ‘Performance Benchmarking in the Facility Management Industry’ during last year’s edition.

10 of the most outstanding companies in the sector are sponsoring this year’s edition of MEFMA CONFEX, including Initial Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd as Platinum Sponsor, Apleona HSG Facility Management and Imdaad as Gold Sponsors.
