After Signing a Joint Agreement: Mawarid Finance and AFS Launch a Digital Application for Issuing Updated Credit Cards

Dubai, United Arab Emirates –May 2025
Mawarid Finance is set to launch, within the coming days, an integrated digital application for issuing updated credit cards. This service, considered the first of its kind in the region, aims to simplify customer transactions and save time and effort. The application will allow Mawarid Finance customers to apply for and manage credit cards electronically, as well as track their transactions in real time.

The launch of this digital credit card issuance application follows the agreement signed yesterday with Arab Financial Services (AFS), a regional leader in digital payment solutions. The agreement was signed by Mr. Samer Soliman, CEO of AFS, and Mr. Rashid Al Qubaisi, CEO of Mawarid Finance. Under this agreement and with the activation of services provided by AFS, Mawarid Finance customers will be able to install the application on smartphones or other devices, facilitating the card issuance process and providing comprehensive information about the service.

Mr. Rashid Al Qubaisi, CEO of Mawarid Finance, affirmed the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative and advanced solutions to its customers. He emphasized the goal of empowering users to easily and securely issue their credit cards without the need to visit Mawarid’s branches, enabling them to use the cards according to their needs, including online purchases. He stressed that the card offers the highest levels of protection through a purchase protection feature for online transactions. He further noted that this new service falls within Mawarid’s broader strategy to provide a diverse and extensive range of benefits that meet customer expectations and aspirations. He highlighted the growing importance of this card, particularly given the accelerating rise in online purchases, which significantly saves customers time and effort.

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Samer Soliman added, “This collaboration exemplifies a highly successful model of integration between established financial institutions and agile fintech companies. Together, we are meticulously crafting and delivering innovative digital experiences that not only adhere to rigorous global standards but also provide users with an intuitively seamless and highly secure financial journey.
