The discussion focused on how color vision deficiency is an inherited condition that affects 8% of males and 0.5% of females. Moreover, there are two different types of color-blind deficiency which are; Red-Green and blue-yellow. Most of the people who are considered “color blind” can still see colors, but certain colors appear washed out or different to them and can easily confuse other colors depending on the type of color vision deficiency they have. Color blind diagnosis can be verified through Pseudoisochromatic plates test. Glasses that are used for color blindness have special lenses which include a filter to cut out the overlapping wavelengths. Those glasses allow people with color blindness to have a better destination between colors, especially red and green.
Later in the day Al Jaber Optical launched the latest collection of Maui Jim Sunglasses with PolarizedPlus2 Lenses and awarded free gifts and samples of this latest collection to visiting personalities and social media influencers.
