Miss Dewanti Kumala was crowned Miss Polo International 2019 in the first edition of the competition, which was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Juma bin Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum, a ceremony that was held on Saturday September 14 at Music Hall, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel in The Palm Jumairah, Dubai.
The contest saw 30 Misses from around the world, where Miss Philippines Ira Everla as the first runner-up, Miss Turkey Sandra Zemaiti as the second runner-up. Rounding up the Top 5 are Miss Nigeria & Miss Thailand

Mohammed Majid, Director of the Office of HH Sheikh Juma bin Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum, said: “We are delighted that Dubai has hostrd this major international event.
Major events play a big role in the increasing exposure of the Emirate of Dubai on the one hand and the UAE on the other hand. There is no doubt that Dubai has become a known global destination to host the most important and finest international events.”
He also added, we are working on to host the event again and make it a known annual spectal.”
“We are also working to develop this event by increasing the number of participants and the number of guests, through the development of different elements of the ceremony.
We are planning to increase the number of countries participating in the coming seasons, and we are in contact with some participants from the Arab world. Hopefully we will have Arab contestants next year.”
