The ‘Orchestra Nazionale Barocca dei Conservatori Italiani’ (National Baroque Orchestra of Italian Conservatories) brings to Dubai the brilliant variety of the Maestro of Baroque music, Antonio Vivaldi. In addition to a selection of his solo concertos, the highlight of the event is the “four seasons” which the Venetian composer interpreted the most specific aesthetic tendency of the Baroque style: the imitation of nature. In the world-renowned concertos dedicated to Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, Vivaldi creates a music at times languid, at times harsh, at times excited and at times characteristic but, despite all else, always pulsating and original.
