Dubai, UAE, January 31, 2025: The Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition, set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 10 to 12, will attract numerous Japanese startups aiming to showcase their innovative products and solutions while exploring investment and financing opportunities in the UAE market. These startups seek to leverage the advantages and enablers offered by the UAE’s dynamic business and investment ecosystem.
Maico[舞坂1] Enterprise, the Japanese company organizing the Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition in Dubai, (JTED)announced that Japanese startup participation in the second edition of the exhibition has increased by 10% compared to the previous edition. More than 100 companies and brands will showcase Japanese innovation across various sectors, including technology, artificial intelligence, space, food industries, engineering, healthcare, arts, and crafts.
Participating start-ups will unveil their latest innovations to visitors, investors, and business leaders in the UAE and the region. They will also present detailed demonstrations of their cutting-edge solutions through specialized sessions within the exhibition’s daily program. These innovations span artificial intelligence, robotics, sustainability, healthcare, and green infrastructure technology.
The exhibition will feature five exceptional Japanese startups pioneering new technologies and innovative business ideas with the potential for major global impact.
- ThinkX: Specializes in building a next-generation AI-powered cloud, primarily for higher education research institutions, based on a programmable real-time agent running on a high-performance server cluster. ThinkX has been conducting research and development in real-time voice language AI and personalization since 2015.
- Avita: A startup leveraging over 25 years of scientific research by Hiroshi Ishiguro to address societal challenges through avatar and generative AI services.
- Adachi Electric Industry: A proud member of the Hydrogen Energy Promotion Council, established in 2022 in Japan’s industrial hub. The company embodies Japanese craftsmanship, securing key patents under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), with additional filings in Taiwan and planned expansions to other countries.
- TOHO-LEO: Aims to merge creativity with environmental consciousness by creating innovative spaces that inspire harmony. Through global collaborations, TOHO-LEO is committed to advancing business value and contributing to a sustainable future.
