During the recent media iftar, Plan b Group Chairman Dr. Harmeek Singh gave a poignant and inspiring speech in which he discussed the company’s mission, future projects, and the value of purpose-driven leadership.
The Plan b Group, a group of eight businesses with operations in four continents, has played a significant role in both public and private sector projects. It has developed a solid portfolio of community-driven intellectual properties, international athletic and sporting events, and brand activations.
“We create legacies, not just execute ideas,” Dr. Singh stated. “Our team can adapt to different regions while maintaining global connections. Each initiative we undertake is a step closer to creating a significant impact on our communities.”
The Women’s Run and the Cancer Run, which are organised in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, are two of their premier events. Now, the group intends to bring these popular formats to Saudi Arabia and Qatar. “It’s not just about running—it’s about giving people purpose and platform,” he shared.
Being the only firm working with FIFA on the Beach Soccer World Cup, Plan b has an impact on the global scene. The agency is currently getting ready for the upcoming event, which will take place in the Seychelles from May 1–10, 2025, following a record-breaking edition in Dubai.
Dr. Singh underlined that partnerships, not transactional sponsorships, are how Plan B functions. “We don’t work with clients—we work with partners. Building communities, not campaigns, is the goal here.”
Dr. Singh, a fervent supporter of social justice, also emphasized the organization’s yearly Ramadan blood drive. “we donate blood to our fasting brothers and sisters. It’s a cause that is dear to my heart and an honor.”
With an eye on the future, Plan b is working with foreign organizations to extend its investment and tourist endeavors and introduce new verticals by the summer.
“Sustainability begins with collaboration. The United Arab Emirates demonstrates to the world how harmony and diversity can coexist. I wish for world peace,” he said as he concluded the meeting with a message of harmony and peace.
