SGH offers free consultations, Mammogram checks and Breast Ultrasound throughout October 2019
Saudi German Hospitals – UAE launched breast cancer awareness campaigns to increase awareness and encourage positive action amongst women and their families towards breast cancer. The campaign comprises of series of activities to be held throughout October.
To fight against Breast Cancer all three branches of the SGH group located in Dubai, Ajman & Sharjah will be offering free complimentary consultation and mammogram checks for women aged 40 and above and Free complimentary consultations and Breast Ultrasound for women and girls aged 40 and below throughout the month of October 2019.
The initiative lead by Dr Reem Osman, CEO, Saudi German Hospital (SGH) Group UAE aims to enhance awareness for Breast Cancer in the region and work towards eliminating its effects in the earliest stages possible. ‘SGH Group wants to do this campaign and screening to raise public awareness and also as part of its corporate social responsibility and commitment towards the society in improving healthcare standards and improving life.’ Said Dr. Reem
In addition to the complimentary screening during the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SGH hospitals in UAE is hosting series of events. These events are really about raising awareness for breast cancer early detection by bringing women together with their friends in a friendly environment and positive setting
“Breast cancer is the most treatable form of cancer amongst women if detected early. It is a cause that is extremely close to my heart and one that we aim to carry forward at SGH year on year. Through this campaign we want to introduce a new and engaging way to raise awareness of the disease whilst closely working with families and supporting breast cancer survivors.
