The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has announced preparations for the launch of the sixth edition of the Acres 2019 real estate exhibition. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and will be hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah during March 19-21, in cooperation with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and the Real Estate Sector Business Group in Sharjah.
The announcement was declared during a meeting of the representative committee of the Real Estate Sector Working Group, recently held under the leadership of HE Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Representative Committee of the Real Estate Sector Working Group, in the presence of representatives from the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority and the Planning and Survey Department.
The Members of the Committee reviewed the current arrangements to organize the exhibition in a unique and innovative way. The event is set to attract important companies in the real estate, investment, construction and real estate development sectors, by following the best strategies and practices for promotion and investment, and highlighting the role of the exhibition, which brings together decision-makers, leading institutions and investors in the real estate sector.
The event will also host experts and specialists to review the features of the real estate market in Sharjah and highlight the different challenges and opportunities by organizing a series of associated events.
HE Mohamed Ahmed Amin, Acting Director-General of the SCCI, revealed that the number of companies participating in this new edition has increased by 70% compared to the previous edition. The exhibition has achieved a good reputation and great interest from both real estate companies and investors in the previous editions. It provided leading real estate products that attract investors, which has had a direct impact on the expansion of the exhibition space, thus giving additional impetus to the real estate sector and increasing its activity in the Emirate of Sharjah. Amin remarked that Sharjah has become one of the most mature investment destinations in the region, has diversified investment options and has been able over the years, to position itself by achieving strong and sustainable growth in the real estate development sector.
HE Saeed Ghanim Al Suwaidi, pointed to the need to unify the efforts to drive the real estate market and enable the partners to provide solutions and develop flexible methodologies that meet the changing requirements. Al Suwaidi remarked that the exhibition will provide many useful investment opportunities, open new fields for exhibitors and investors to meet the needs of customers in all segments, provide financing services for investors and the public who are looking to buy residential units during the exhibition, and benefit from the package of legislation and flexible incentives provided to investors. Thus, Sharjah will consolidate its role as an attractive investment destination and a major hub in the Gulf region and Middle Eastern.
Acres 2019 offers the widest investment opportunities to share expertise, conclude partnerships and make lucrative deals. The real estate sector is one of the most prominent sectors in the country, and a sign of long-term economic stability in Sharjah. The event will support real estate developers by promoting their real estate projects of both the country and the region, taking advantage of the urban development witnessed by Sharjah in all fields.
The exhibition brings together real estate developers, contractors, agents, mediators, banks, financial institutions, government institutions involved in real estate, insurance companies, property management services, property owners, engineering services companies and project management companies.
