The premiere of the highly-anticipated YouTube series AYA

The first episode of the highly anticipated Arabic YouTube fashion series AYA, run by an all female team targeting Gen Z viewers in the Middle East is set to premiere in the region this January on January 29, 2020.

To celebrate the YouTube premiere, an exclusive invite-only screening was held at the Rove Hotel, Downtown Dubai, on January 22, on Wednesday.

The exclusive affair featured top fashion and lifestyle influencers including members of the media and the industry trendsetters.

A panel discussion was held, where AYA’s four hosts- Haya, Reem, Assia and Yara discussed different ways the show will impact the lives of Gen Z viewers in the region and what fashion means to them and the way it reflects on their personality.

The panel was moderated by one of UAE’s top fashion influencers and content creator, Rasha Al Beik and was followed by a closing remark from Reim El Houni, the Executive Producer of the show and Andrew Maskall Founder of AYA Media LLC.

New episodes of “AYA” will be released on YouTube every Wednesday at 4:00 pm UAE time starting this January 29.

 Meet the faces behind AYA.

Yara Algain is a Saudi beauty professional with a background in media and advertising. Flaunting an edgy personal style, she hopes to cast a positive example for fellow Saudian women.

Reem Al Hammadi is an Emirati that draws inspiration from the Saudian model, Shoq. With a passion for new adventures, she hopes her latest one, AYA, sparks a movement towards authenticity amongst Khaleeji women.

Haya Al Yassin, a Syrian journalism student at the American University of Sharjah. Haya hopes to empower her female audience to dream outside the lines, while also hoping to entertain them.

Assia Mezyaine, from Morocco, hails from a mixed professional background of IT engineering and real estate. A confident public speaker, she will be bringing her charismatic charm to the screen with AYA

About AYA : AYA (As You Are) is a YouTube series produced for Gen Z viewers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the greater Middle East. The pioneering YouTube series is the first of its kind in the GCC, and targets the Middle Eastern youth. AYA’s episodes will cover a spectrum of themes, from fashion and beauty to self-improvement and entrepreneurialism.
